“Stand Up, Lift Your Hands And Praise Him…”

He’s The Maker of Creation, The Father of My Salvation
Stand Up, Lift Your Hands And Praise Him…

He Calms the Winds with His Voice; You Praise Him By Your Choice
Stand Up, Lift Your Hands and Praise Him

Give God All the Glory, Tell the World the Story
Stand Up, Lift Your Hands and Praise Him

Stand up Stand up for Jesus Ye Soldiers of the Cross
Stand Up, Lift Your Hands and Praise Him

He Led Moses Out of Egypt, Kept Safe All His People
Stand Up, Lift Your Hands and Praise Him

He Cried Lazarus and From the Grave He Came To Us
Stand Up, Lift Your Hands and Praise Him

Give God All the Glory, Tell the World the Story
Stand Up, Lift Your Hands and Praise Him

Stand up Stand up for Jesus Ye Soldiers of the Cross
Stand Up, Lift Your Hands and Praise Him

I’M GONNA TELL THE WORLD I’M A CHRISTIAN

Not necessarily just poetry... This reverberates in my mind as a song...

I was born to sin and living in The world that I loved
Now born again and waiting for Heaven up above
I was going through life with troubles and trials Giving in to temptation
Now I’m making headway and living today For the maker of creation

I’m gonna Shout, Sing, Clap, and Dance
And tell the world I’m a Christian
I’m gonna Laugh, Love, Praise, and Pray
And tell the world I’m a Christian

I’ll stand on high and shout from the sky And tell the world I’m a Christian
I am breaking free and loving me And to God I am listening
I know he cried for me and he died for me So now I’ll live for him
His sacrifice you see now means more to me Because I am a Christian

I’m gonna Shout, Sing, Clap, and Dance
And tell the world I’m a Christian
I’m gonna Laugh, Love, Praise, and Pray
And tell the world I’m a Christian

The Path Trod Twice

I once watched a child who was following his dad,
he tried every footstep to match
The dad walked along like nothing was wrong,
he didn't realize how important the path.

The child kept on plugging at the path his was chugging
and dad didn't think nothing of it
But when the child went astray by going the same way
dad told him he should rise above it

That it wasn't his fault the child better was taught
and should do as told not as he done
But the child had the nerve to say not word
but continue the same path he was on
